The Society's Annual Conference, WE17, was held October 26 - 28 in Austin, TX.

WE17 SWE National Conference and Award Banquet October 28, 2017
Our section was recognized with 2 Mission Awards on Saturday evening's Celebrate SWE! We received a Gold Level Professional Award and a Best Practice Award for Mentoring.

Two SWE-MN individuals were also recognized for society level awards this year. Kalyani Mallela received the SWE Distinguished New Engineer award and Charlene Willenbring received the Outstand SWE counselor award. Congratulations, Ladies!
